Exciting news from R3 Jewel Academy! We're thrilled to share that Lakshmi Deepika Vutukuri, one of our students, has won a national award. She's been awarded the National Jewellery Award, marking her first win but continuing our academy's winning streak to two years in a row! This achievement reflects Lakshmi's design skills and the training behind them. Her trainers shared their knowledge, gave practical feedback, and prepared her for competitions like this one, not just for exams. Live classes at R3 stay capped at five students per batch, which is what makes that kind of individual feedback possible in the first place. Lakshmi's win shines a light on her creativity and hard work, and it also showcases the high-quality training we provide at R3 Jewel Academy. The National Jewellery Awards (NJA) are among India's most prestigious honours in jewellery design, organised by the All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC). Winning in the “Student of the Year” category places a designer among the strongest emerging talent in the country.
R3 Jewel Academy student Lakshmi Deepika Vutukuri won at the National Jewellery Awards 2023. It was the academy's second consecutive year of NJA recognition — part of a run in which R3 students have won the “Student of the Year” title for four consecutive years (2022–2025), contributing to 17 national awards for the academy to date.
Results like this reflect the coaching of R3 Jewel Academy's faculty of professional designers and gemologists with 13–18+ years of experience, who guide students from first sketch to competition-ready design. The 2023 win sits inside a longer run. R3 students took Student of the Year at NJA 2022 (Souvik Koley, Archana and Harika), again at NJA 2024 (Anwesha Dutta, Sakshi Tandon and Bhavana Narkar), and once more at NJA 2025. One of those winners, Suparna Pattanayak Maity, now teaches manual design here — she joined as a student, won, and came back as faculty.
